Weekend Bowls Results

Three teams again in action this week with two at home and one away. Unfortunately for the first time in a long time all three teams were unsuccessful in their respective games.

The Premier 7’s Division 3 team were at home to Robina and were beaten 2 rinks to 1. With the pairs being the successful team. This was the teams first lost for the season but still maintain their first place position. We hope Robina enjoyed their trip up the motorway to Wynnum.

Division 5 were away to Bramble Bay and were also unsuccessful on the day going down 2 rinks to 1 as well. The pairs team were the successful rink here. Again with the strong season the team has been having they maintain their position at the top of the ladder. Thank you to Bramble Bay for your hospitality.

Summer Shield were at home to Bulimba which ended in a 107 – 84 defeat but were able to come away with 2 points due to the two triples teams having wins on their rinks. It was a game played in good spirit and we hope Bulimba enjoyed their visit to Wynnum.

Club Championship singles games were played with S. Micaleff, E. Micaleff, I. Pepper, P. Gyr and D. Hawkins having wins.
