Weekend Bowls Results

With all three teams at home this weekend and the weather holding off it was a great afternoon at Wynnum with the two Premier 7’s teams maintaining their winning streak.

Division 3 played host to Wellington Point and came away with a strong 3 rink to 0 win. This keeps them firmly at the top of the division. We hope Wellington Point enjoyed their visit to the club.

Division 5 welcomed Windsor to the club and were able to also maintain their position at the top of the table with a 2 rink to 1 win. Both the pairs and fours teams came away with the win while the singles fell just short this week. Thank you to Windsor for making the trip across the river we hope you enjoyed your time at Wynnum.

In the Summer Shield we faced a strong Capalaba team that were too good for us on the day and were defeated 105 to 61. There are two weeks remaining in the Summer Shield we hope to finish strong with 2 wins to close it out. We hope Capalaba enjoyed their visit to the club.

In the Club Championships L. Hollins has had a win in the singles. In the pairs L. Harris and C. Johnston have won their game as has I. Pepper and M. Dixon, M. Polietz and S. Micaleff and finally E. Micaleff and K. Flynn.

Next week we have the Division 3 Premier 7’s team at home along with the Summer Shield team.
