Weekend Bowls Results

Three Pennants teams in action this weekend.

Division 3 were hosts to Carina and came away with a 2 rink to 1 overall win. Total scores being 63 to 48 in Wynnum’s favor. This keeps the 3’s in the hunt for the finals coming into the last round. Thank you for your visit to Wynnum Carina.

Division 4 were away to Logan City and have an unsuccessful trip south going down 2 rinks to 1 and a close overall differential of 62 to 53 in Logan’s favor. Thanks goes to Logan for their hospitality on the day.

Division 6 were at home to Wellington Point and all 3 teams were unsuccessful with the total score also being 73 to 44 in Wellington Point’s favor. We hope you enjoyed your visit to Wynnum Wellington Point.

In the Club competitions there were two finals and a handful of other games. In the B Singles S. Micaleff defeated in the final. In the CS Triples finals I. Redford, C. Johnston and L. Harris were successful.

In the Handicap Pairs the teams of M. Smart & P. Lee, J. Black & L. Pryce, K. Flynn & E. Micaleff were all successful. In the Handicap Singles R. Fletcher was successful.
