Weekend Bowls Results

This weekend had two of the three teams at home.

In the Bayside Challange Wynnum “A” were away to Victoria Point. The final points score resulted in a 5 – 5 draw. This was broken down into 2 rink wins, 1 rink draw and a rink loss. Overall Wynnum went down by 1 shot 81 – 82. Thank you to Victoria Point for your hospitality.

Wynnum “B” were home to Cleveland and were unsuccessful going down 8 points to 2. This was a 3 rink to 1 loss with the overall points being 91 – 73 in favor of Cleveland. Thank you Cleveland for your visit.

In the Poinciana Challenge Cleveland were also visitors for this game. The final score being a draw with both teams taking 5 points. With 2 rinks out of a possible 4 each the overall score finished 77 all. Thank you to Cleveland again for your visit.

In the club championships P. Gyr defeated S. Micaleff in the semi finals of the A Singles. This means the final will be between P. Gyr and I. Redford. In the pairs the teams of R. Muir, R. Sinnamon and C. Johnston, L. Harris were both successful. M. Polietz defeated E. Micaleff in the B Singles.
