Weekend Bowls Results

With a few weeks having passed since the narrow defeat in the final of the Premier 7’s Division 3 both the Bayside and Poinciana Challenge began this week with Wynnum fielding two teams in the Bayside and one team in Poinciana.

Both Wynnum teams played each other in the first round of the Bayside Challenge with the Wynnum “A” team coming away with a 3 rink to 1 win over the Wynnum “B” team.

The Poinciana team paid a visit to our neighbors up at Manly and we able to come away with a 3 rink to 1 win with an overall score of 95 – 91. Thank you to Manly for your hospitality.

In the club games there were both A and B singles being played. In the A Singles S. Micaleff was a winner which moves him into the semi final. The B singles had 4 games played with I. Pepper, P. Herbohn. D. Benne and P. Carle all coming away with wins.

We have two teams at home this coming Saturday so head over to the teams area to check the lineups.
