Weekend Bowls Results

A great weekend of bowls all round for Wynnum this weekend.

The Division 3 Premier 7’s side played their quarter finals game Sunday morning against our neighbors Manly with both clubs travelling down the M1 to play at Musgrave Hill. It was a very competitive game with Manly getting off to a strong start. Wynnum worked hard to get back into the game and came away 2 – 1 winners with the pairs and fours being successful. Great job by all involved!

This means the team will now head back down to Musgrave Hill next weekend to take on Algester in the semi final!

In the Club Championships their were quite a few games played in the first round of the B Singles. P. Herbohn, P. Gyr, G. Webster, M. Ross and K. Flynn all had wins. Quite a few of the drawn pairs games had to postponed until further notice due to competition games.

Finally the club has a Presidents Pairs even Saturday afternoon with a great turnout of 42 bowlers. The club would like to thank everyone who participated to make it a fantastic day out!
